Hi guys,

so, i just found an expired domain with the following stats:

DA54
PA62

Majestic Trust 34
Majestic Citation 39

Reffering Domains 2567
Reffering IPs 2166

It has backlinks all over the place from bbc, businessinsider, nytimes, you name it.

History is clean as far as I can tell (checked archive)

The only problem? Its a turkish TLD. And I have no idea what to do with it.

I have a feeling that this domain should be worth a lot of money, even though it is turkish. I mean, you could even get a turkish guy and set it up for a turkish news site and link back to your site. I mean, this has to be worth something, right?

You can try to register it with fake whois, if that fails, find someone from Turkey and pay them to register it for you.
It is definitely worth something, if it's clean

I don't know man...I am a little worried about the domain because it's really expensive to register (cheapest I found was around 80€) and don't know if its copyrighted, but I dont think it is

It seems to be such a good domain, but I have no idea what to do with it

It isn't an military/government TLD of that country? Check if you can register it.

No it's not. I already tried that. I can get to the page to pay for the domain...no problem

I just saw though that it is required that you are a turkish national...so I can't register it myself. Still, it has great stats. Maybe a turkish member here that wants it

Metrics wise it looks lovely and all, but Turkish TLD makes it a no go and reduces price by at least 90%.

Definitely a lot,i've seen a similar domain with same metrics not sure if we saw the same domain,i've enquired to register it but to register it we need a turkish residence.

sites like 101domain.com will give you a trustee option if you pay them 75$ meaning they'll use a turkish identity and register the domain but you still need to have a registered business to register the domain

Yeah I am in the progress of registering it myself. Don't think it will pass though
