How much is my domain name worth?

Hello, I recently bought a new domain, an EMD with over 100k exact. Anyway, I was wondering if it is worth something, because I think it got a brand name in it. It's a keyword best to monetize with amazon in my opinion.

I rather not post the URL here on the forum, but I would like if someone knows a bit more about domains could help me with this one.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Amazon or maybe if you find something on Commission Junction would work well!

i'm wondering if the manufacturer might send you a warning, though. i've always heard that using the word 'review' or something in an emd like this was a good idea

This is how you should go about it:

Build yourself a decent site revolving around reviews & whatnot. If you receive a C&D, reply back that you are willing to sell them the domain in order to prevent any drawn out litigation. If they accept and offer you something reasonable, take it. If they don't, wait until you receive the 2nd C&D and then dump the domain.

Otherwise, I'll take it off your hands for 10 Bucks.

i personally have bad experience with brand name EMD's, i was twice requested to delete the sites after my hosting company got a request from the brand owner...

I had paypal in one of my domains last year and I got a warning email from Ebay very quickly.

To be honest, you will have a hard time selling a brand name domains. I would rather say, build up a Amazon affiliated site and make some quick cash until you get a notice or something

Do as ohaider said, use it until you receive those C&D letters. It's getting more difficult to sell a domain containing a trademark. Flippa started taking bigger measures against domains with trademarks.

Grace delete it if possible. Why waste time on something that you know will get a C&D sooner or later?
