How much is link from pinterest worth?

I see that some of the links from pinterest are still do follow, but I do not know how good these links are, if they really will have some impact to my SE positions. Do you think it is worth the effort to put images in sites and pin them, just for the link? And what about repins, dorepins of your images with your link in the text also help?

yes of course it helps a lot. Different people use it for different purposes.

It's a crap shoot, it's like anything else SEO....you do hundreds of keyword phrases with hundreds of repins on each pin and see what sticks

How would one exploit this per se?

I see you can add images and put a comment which would be a kw phrase with those images but how do you get your url on there....

First time I have looked at this pinterest this morning so I still have a bit of a learning curve...
