I don't know if anyone remember Vine from when it used to be a medium for sharing videos, but I was on X today and I saw that they relaunched and would be donating all dev proceeds to X because apparently X has become a "beacon for free speech and self expression."

But that's not even the point, my question is how do traders approach projects like these, that re brand or relaunch after a break? Do you go in because of the credibility it had in the past or are you more skeptical?

Does it help if reputable brands are associating with the project, like the Bitget listing and the tweet from Elon with Vine?

Reputable endorsements can definitely have a big impact on crypto projects, especially when it comes to things like trust and visibility. If a well-known brand or person like Elon Musk gives a shoutout, it can create a buzz and bring attention to the project, which might attract more traders or investors. For example, the Vine relaunch you mentioned might get extra traction because of associations like the Bitget listing or Elon’s tweet, people tend to trust these kinds of endorsements, thinking they bring credibility or stability to the project.

When a project rebrands or relaunches after a break, traders can have mixed reactions. Some might be optimistic, especially if the project had a strong reputation in the past or if big names are involved. Others might be more skeptical, questioning whether it’s a genuine reboot or just a rehash of an old idea. In the crypto world, where projects can rise and fall quickly, traders often weigh past credibility against the risks involved. Ultimately, a solid endorsement can boost confidence, but careful research into the project's current viability and the overall market conditions is still key for most traders.

For projects like $VINE, the credibility from the past definitely adds some weight, but the real game-changer is how quickly it’s gaining traction now. Bitget Seed called $VINE below $100M mcap, and it’s already above $325M, crazy growth in such a short time. That kind of backing, paired with Elon’s subtle nods and the Bitget listing, gives it more legitimacy than your average meme coin.

If anything, this proves the value of watching platforms like Bitget Seed closely. They’re great for spotting early gems before they explode. $VINE might be flying now, but you don’t want to miss the next one. Always pays to stay aheadIMG_3535.jpeg

It does help if reputable brands are associating with the project, because of social proof. And many people want to get in because their friends did it. As far as my opinion is concerned, I don't usually follow the herd.

Was doing new research the other day and yes Vine is getting some fresh traction these few days.

Morning momentum and they've got good capital

Everything is pretty much a popularity contest, if the individual or brand posting about the launch has a significant amount of organic followers then you’re bound to have enough buying power at launch to guarantee a pump - if the actual idea behind the project is good or not has very little to do with it short term.
