How much have you earned online?

I don't have money to promote with AdWords.
you should start with at least 3-5$ per day on adwords in order to get new clients. it is the best way I've found yet. without any initial budget it will be very difficult to find new customers. just spare 100$ and throw them in adwords at the lowest cpm.. and see if your return is bigger than 100$

When I first started I spent 3 - 4 years just dabbling in things, still working a full-time job. I bounced from one thing to another like crazy and never focused on anything. in those 3 - 4 years I probably made a total of like $500 online.. and I am sure I spent more money on software and courses than that so it was not profit.

I finally started to make some real money when I decided to focus all of my attention on e-commerce in 2013, at this point I also decided that you really have to spend money to make money, and that I was sick of trading my time for all Free traffic methods so I learned how to run FB ads.. My first successful E-commerce store did about 700k (Revenue Not Profit) in 5 months and I spent about 220K on Facebook ads.

Let me tell you I thought I was a baller and on top of the world. turns out I had no idea how to run a real business. I decided right away that I did not want my customers to have to wait for 2 - 3 weeks to receive their order so I leased a warehouse, hired employees and order a bunch of stock in bulk. this was my biggest mistake, it was very costly and at the end of the day I was such a terrible manager and we kept getting so far behind that it was taking 2 - 3 weeks for people to get their orders anyways and it was costing me much more than to just have them drop ship it.

This company ended up failing, I solely relied on my winning products and never focused on what was going to be next after the product stopped selling. and eventually, I could not make my ads profitable anymore. And I had no idea what I was going to do I had employees that I had to pay, back orders to ship, warehouse lease and bills to pay. It was the worst time of my life... My back was up against the wall and I did not know what to do, I literally wanted to hide from the world because I knew I failed and did not want to have to face it.

I ended up getting out of my lease on the warehouse, I had to let all of my employees go and I got so far behind on my bills that I almost lost my house.

Luckily while I was doing well in E-commerce I managed to build a decent sized email list from webinars I did along with some free cheat sheets I handed out here and there I think the list was about 7k people. So I created a case study of my entire store and how I was success with it. I sold this case study for $27 to my email list and posted it in the Facebook group that I built.

I ended up making about 20k in about a week and this was enough to get me caught up on my bills and gave me some money to get some other things going. And at this point, I realized that my email list would buy things from me. This was something I completely ignored before because I was focused on my ecom stores and was just helping people out for free on Facebook and doing free training webinars. So I started doing some affiliate marketing with different shopify apps, themes, product research software you name it. And that did pretty well for me I was making on average about 8 - 12k/month and it was profit I had not overhead or products to deliver so I really liked it. But I did have one major flaw, I could not grow this easily because I was no longer doing ecommerce and did not have any fancy stats to show or anything to gain trust and more leverage.

So I decided to start doing e-commerce again, I had some business PTSD and really did not want to put myself in a bad situation again, but I knew if I wanted to grow my affiliate marketing business I needed to grow my list and gain the trust of people. So I launched a few more stores but I had a really hard time fully dedicating myself to it because of my past failures holding me back.

But one day a friend of mine contacted me and said hey, I just met this person that has an awesome product that sells very well on T.v (Infomercial product) and they are looking for someone who knows how to sell on Facebook so they can start selling online as well, are you interested? and I said, of course, get me on the phone with them. So I talked to them they explained that T.v was not very profitable anymore and they were looking to explore other avenues to sell their product.

So I explained to them how Facebook worked, my background, the whole nine. They hired me on the spot and gave me a pretty decent marketing budget about (50K) to get started with. They created professional videos, we created awesome landing pages and funnels and we got rolling. and I got them to agree to pay me 10% of the revenue that I generated for them.

This was a great deal for me because I did not have to pull any money out of my own pocket and I was able to do things the right way instead of doing them cheaply like I used to.

In the first 6 months, I generated 1.2 million in sales for them, my cut was about 120k. The owner of the company approached me and said look, everyone in our industry wants to be able to sell online and none of them have any clue how to get started. If we work out a licensing deal with these companies can you sell the products online? And I obviously explained to them that not every product that sells well on T.v will sell well online but we can definitely test them and see.

So I went with the owner and traveled around the country to different trade shows, and inventors summits, and we talked to companies and I explained to them that I ran sold products online and how we did it I showed them our sales numbers along with our ad spend and got them interested in our products.

This was the turning point in my career.

Me and the owner of the company I was working for formed a new licensing company and are 50/50 partners.

And what we do now find awesome products, buy them wholesale from the companies that have no idea how to sell online and sell them through Facebook/IG.

The business has definitely had it's ups and downs and still has a long ways to go but long story short I went full circle and ended back up in e-commerce. and now I run an average of 5 - 10 different products at a time and each product usually generate 50 - 200k in revenue per month.

We have also launched several of our own products and been pretty successful.

But to answer the thread question, "How much have you made online" I have generated over 40 Million in Revenue online, actual profit to date is closer to about 2.5 million.

My journey online is approaching a decade, and I still don't have everything figured out... I have failed more times than I can count, if you are not willing to have your face drug through the mud and get your teeth kicked in a few times then being your own boss might not be for you. I have seen 10,000's of people come and go in this industry since I started. And the truth is. It is hard, Yes you might find some things that make you a few bucks here and there. But if you want to make life-changing money and truly become your own boss. You are going to have to build a real business and constantly keep innovating and stay ahead of the curve.

Ok, I am done ranting lol... I was only planning on writing a paragraph, and I lost track of time haha.

I hope this inspires someone reading this, don't be afraid to adapt and don't pass on opportunities most of them only present them self once.

Anyways here are a couple screenshots just because I know you guys will start asking if I don't post...

Awesome journey you have been on.
Do you still have the Ebook study? Is it still relevant? Would love to read it.

It's been 3 weeks now, I have a website.

I promote via Facebook and get paid thru Adsense.

I had 25 euros to start, my "business" is now almost a month old and I have 370 euros, not bad I think.

I’m relatively new to this business, it’s been only around a year since I joined, and actually I haven’t made any calculations yet. What I should admit that first couple of months didn’t bring me anything and still the income varies month from month. Depends on what tolls I’m using.

Great writeup. You have been in the game way longer than me but our stories are similar in the sense that I tried a lot of different shit until I found something that worked. I went from Mobile Marketing (Pay Per Call) to Affiliate Marketing Websites to Flipping On Ebay to FBA to Merch By Amazon until I finally discovered my strengths which were research and being able to build a quick rapport with people. Last year, I learned about dropshipping (I like to call it 'fulfillment'), knew I would be able to use those strengths to my advantage and went on the search for suppliers. Fast forward this year, I have almost 150 suppliers ready to ship products out for me at anytime and I've made $15k sales in 3 months. Sales are getting better everyday. If anybody is reading this just know that there's nothing wrong with trying a bunch of shit. Sometimes you have to in order to find your true passion.

I'm not a high roller so I'm not struggling to earn as much as possible. As there is also some probability that you can lose the entire investment. If I won about 50-100 dollars, I walk away as it's my strategy. And I'm planning to switch to bitcoin-based casinos 'cause judging from this article https://www.besttechie.com/how-bitcoin-influences-the-igaming-industry/ they are much interesting and their offerings are kinda fantastic. Besides online gambling, I also invest in some cryptos, so I will kill two birds with one stone.

Back in 2010-2011 I had a nice little set up going and was making about $100-$300 a day. Most of it was coming from Craigslist, and that sort of all caved in. Since then It's just been a little bit here and there but I've not really set anything major up. It's been a lot of testing, and brainstorming here recently.

Something, not so much, with matched betting and poker. I will take more serious actions as soon as possible.

i am interesting who is making money with CPA now? and how much? do you recommend CPA ?

I know of a lot of people that are making money with CPA. If you do a search in the forums here you will find a ton of info about CPA, how much people are making and different strategies people are using to make money. It seems the more creative you are with you offer the better it will convert, as well as making sure your traffic source is legit.

I used to fight for a living and had freelancing as a designer as a fallback. On my travels mainly to the US the exchange rate between $ and £ was good and I dipped my toe into importing on a basic level bringing golf clubs, some electronics and watches over and selling in the pub or back to friends with interest in that item. I done this as I traveled back and forth, eventually, I went to uni and dropped out during my 3rd year and set up a company importing various things from the US.

I paid a designer I knew to buy memory cards, jazz/zip disks for me and send them over he ended up stinging me for $1500. I learned my lesson and started to look at drop shipping in the UK it was towards the end of the .com and I managed to get very lucky and ride the wave, I set up my first ecommerce store using candypress was an old .asp shop I done it all for £50 within 6 weeks I sold over £100k worth of items within 6 months I hit my first million in sales. I decided to look at advertising and this is where I started to make money, because all the account managers where crooks!

My digital account manager put me in touch with marketing departments for brands like Big brand A, B, C and the like and between us we worked out a deal. I would put an advert in a magazine tell the marketing guy from Brand A it cost me 10k, I would get 10k bank transferred over to my account. The advert cost me £1,000 and we would split 9k each way so an easy £3,000

This is where I started to become a little bit of a crook, at the height of the digital camera industry sandisk cards where high in demand. I would import cheap PNY cards from china by the container load, and have students here printing sandisk lables on konica minolta laser printers (where the best in the time for printing colour in detail cheap) and I would rebrand them and stick them on ebay, sell to camera shops etc.

Few months I was making more money than I knew what to do with. Id go out and blow 30k on drink, women and drugs go to work the following morning and make double that back I was young and didnt know how to manage it.

I started to become a little bit more of a prick and I was buying return TVs the ones that weighed like 50kg before flat screens. I would buy them directly from a factory and then id import all the packaging from China, have them reboxed here and sold as new down the markets.

Between running scams like that and dropshipping within 12 months I had a company turning over 34million I had a warehouse, money, sex on tap and was living life to the max. When LCDs started to come out that's where I could make a ton of money and did! Till I had an issue with stock, it never turned up as demand for the small 20inch LCDs at the time was crazy high I started to duck customers and avoid refunds in the end had little choice but I had to refund orders.

I work up at 7am the next morning with the local branch manager, police, customs, vat and tax man and a pile of repo men (all much bigger than me) I was told I was over 40million in debt everything was being possessed to pay my debt and the first person in line was the tax man who froze my accounts and took every penny I had in the bank!

With the last bit of cash I had tucked away I hired a forensic accountant who went through my books as there was no way I could be in debt by that much, no one believed me that a 20something kid was right and the bank was wrong but this accountant took my last 3k, went through my books and found a problem with the banks merchant account when refunding money if a customer was due £200 back they got £1000 back - not many people will question the extra money - would you?

We called the branch manager who showed up at the office and he thought I was going to offer a payment plan, we showed him the data and I've never seen a grow man drink a cup of coffee so quickly get up and walk out with we will be in touch. The bank never got in touch, so I took them to court about 5min before I was due to go in front of the judge I was taken to a room where the bank made me an offer for it all to go away, they couldnt give me my money back, restore my name or cover the damage to my life it was all gone by that time everything was just fucked. We did do a deal part of it was a pension fully paid up, the rest I can't disclose too much as it's part of the terms.

The biggest thing I remember was when it all came crashing down how it seemed like everyone I knew was around to stick the boot in and make me feel worse, I remember sitting on my aunts sofa and she offered me £30 to go out to my friends party I told here I was ok and I had £300 in cash but I didnt know how to have a good time with just £300 and she thought I was nuts. But when you have money and you spent it like a prick £300 might as well be 30p

So I went from zero to everything to zero.

I've tried everything to duplicate that business and I've always failed. I've even been arrested over my failed attempts. I look back at it all as being lucky and getting in at the right time. I took 4 years off trying to make money online and by dropshipping it's never been easy for me and was never as easy as back then, you could get credit accounts with a 30second phone call. It's all changed now, not to mention the margins have dropped right out of the window.

About 6 years ago I decided to get back into reselling with the sole aim of building a brand, money is not the driving factor for this business anymore and since I've stopped trying to become a prick with cash. Things have been doing well I run a farm with 4 different enterprises run through it, about to open up a 5th.

For me money is no longer important.

BUT for me I still like to game the system, I'll still buy some things at auction and flip them online. I still like a fast buck I think we all do. I think looking back that's all I ever liked was the side hustles. I like that, I like to hustle, I like to be a crook I guess I'm more of a theif and a con artist if I'm honest with myself. I am what I am. But this brand I'm building is not for me, it's for my kids.

I earn upwards of 40.000 pounds per year consistently for the last 3 years. The first few years(now a good 7-8 years ago) were tough as I was still learning. Some methods worked for me, some methods did not work for me at all. It's all about honing your skills and finding the things you excel at.

Just over $100k since 2012, since I came full time IM quitting my 9-5 job and around $80k in profits since then.

Around 2000$. This was 800$ from YouTube Adsense and 1200$ from Fiverr. Bought a PC for myself with that money. After that I have also made some money from CPABuild but I haven't cashed that out.
Which country your from?
