Hi!

I am planning to start Amazon FBA but I can't find all the costs that they are for starting out with my 1st product. Every time there is something new to add up for expenses.

As I understand the structure for selling on Amazon is:

>> Find the supplier who sells the product on Alibaba >> Agree and buy the desired product >> Send the product to Amazon >> Amazon is responsible for distributing the product.

I am from Spain but I want to get involved with Amazon.com market (USA), and I know the following existing commissions:

Little things that add up for the expenses for selling on Amazon FBA(for what I know):

- Inspection of the product (For the case that the product is in poor condition)> varies between $ 100-300.
- Photography and editing of the product> I am not sure that it may cost.(?)
- Shipping (plane or boat)> If it fits inside a shoe box, it usually costs $ 1 per product.
- Duty> I'm not sure it can cost(?).
- Storage, packaging and distribution by Amazon> Depends on the cost and dimensions of the product (Amazon Calculator).
- Codes> UPC, FNSKU's, and others (I'm not sure how many they are, nor do I know their cost).
- Monthly Amazon subscription of $ 40.
- "LLC", creation of a company> I am not clear that it may cost, or where to get it.

--------> These are the little things that add up and cannot find out which can be the absolute cost of selling 1 product on Amazon.

Please Help me with this issue!

Thank you in advanced.

in turkey it is too much unfortunately its like around 100$ or more :(

start off small with 1 or 2 items and write down all your costs so you have an idea for your next few items

Yo tambien soy de España :D. Que es el producto que vendes? Como consigues el envío tan barato?

Overthinking at it's best!

By this way, you are going to start FBA in 2020 ))

don't get me wrong, I'm on your side

just keep in mind that overthinking kills everything

Just start man!

I sell private label on Amazon since 2014.

UPC from GS1 is $250 + $50 renewal fee.

Duty free of charge for all shipments bellow $800. Don't worry China supplier will decrese value on invoice or split invoices on several smaller so each invoice is less than $800.

What you should consider:
Second order will be from your pocket too because you won't get money from Amazon on time.

Initial marketing costs will be anywhere between $2-5k depending on the competition.

Amazon offers two selling plans. The Professional selling plan is available for a$39.99 monthly subscription fee plus per-item selling fees, which vary by category. If you plan to sell fewer than 40 items a month, the Individual plan may be best for you. There is no monthly subscription fee.

go with the professional if you plan to sell over 40 items a month
