How Much for Basic Mobile Apps

My recommendation still stands dude as you will be billed on a hourly basis regardless of your project's complexity and in this case, it's better for you anyway. If your project is as easy as you say, then it won't take a developer more than a few hours to do this and you will only pay a couple hundred dollars for the work, so I still don't get what the problem is?

From what I've seen above, the rates for a seasoned mobile app developer would be around the $60 mark. I've worked with developers on this level of pricing before for C# projects and I really don't need this level of expertise. As mentioned above, it will be like asking an architect to design a shed.

I'll chuck this up on Guru later and will come back with results.

You can probably get it done with $300 for android and a bit more for ios but you should not expect anything fancy and no bug fixes.
But yea, i think 5k for this is too much, but you can find devs who will charge 5k, just because they can. :)
