How much does web design cost?

I know full websites done by professionals can cost a lot of money but say if I give a designer from here a theme and tell them to move things around a bit so I can put in the images and text, how much should I expect to pay for a small job?

The reason I need to know is because I get quoted anywhere from $15 to $200.

I could do it for free if you already have wordpress installed and it's a wordpress theme (I'm feeling extra nice today) :)
 
Good web design depends on what you need. Be prepared to pay 20$/hour at least for a good designer.

So if you want a really good Wordpress site with a lot of custom CSS you will need to pay 500 - 1000$ at least depending on what you want done.

That's what I was trying to get at in the post, i'm not looking for a really good full $1000 website.
 
Ye that's what I've done. I've got a drag and drop theme but just not technical enough for it. I just need a few things moved around to make it look like the preview on the theme sales page. Doesn't even need to be that good just viewable.
 
So has maxed already done this job? If not drop me a pm. I am a webdesign student (4th semester) and have been doing webdesign for years.
 
Search on Market Place - Web Design Section lot service provider there and they providing good service and review copies also mate. .
 
If you want something done well, just assume it costs a lot.
 
nice trick is to search for a theme that really suits your requirement then go to youtube on how to customize
 
Searched for the most simplest, easy to use theme I could find and I have ended up downloading Zerif Lite, which at the moment is very easy to customize and is exactly what I need. Thanks for replies.
 
$125 will be good amount to get good and responsive website done in wordpress ...let me know if you need this things to be done ..we have team
 
You might want to visit themeforest or enviato market to get a template for approximately $50. After purchased, proceed to BHW Marketplace to hire a freelancer to adjust to your requirements for about $140.
