How much does typography affect a design?

I used to pay attention to colors and graphics but typography can completely change the mood of a design.
The right font choice can make even a simple layout look polished.

tbh it's all about hierarchy and scale... you can make a blank page look high-end just by getting the font weights and spacing right.

Quite a lot. Good colors and graphics won’t save a design if the spacing, hierarchy or line length makes it tiring to read.
