I recently hooked up with a "wholesaler" through tradekey. They have high point rankings and are a gold member. Obviously this doesn't seem to mean much though. I've been talking for a few weeks with someone and want to know how much I am protected if the transaction goes through paypal. I am ordering a small sample order.
How much does paypal protect me?

PayPal and protection is an oxymoron.
On non eBay transaction as long as the seller provides a tracking nnumber then they are in the clear.They do not get involved in "Not as described" complaints/disputes.
So for non e-bay transactions, paypal is on the same level as Western Union.
