How much does my YouTube channel cost?

Hi guys,

I have an active YouTube channel about dubstep music with about 100 videos, each getting around 500 - 20,000 views. The total number of subscribers is 1,231. Total average daily views number is around 8,690 and it is growing every day.

Recently I received an offer from one guy interested in buying my channel. He offered me $550. Do you think it is good offer or shall I wait a bit and sell it for higher price?

P.S. I monetize it with CPA locker on my website.

You should ask him like 10x your monthly earnings of those videos.

Anyway, since those are copyrighted videos, it seems a decent offer to me.
 
All I can say, Don't sell it yet.

Grab your subscribers' emails and do some promotions instead of losing the empire.
 
How much do you make from it? As F4F said, a good price range is 10x your monthly earnings, although I guess you'd be keeping your website so perhaps a little less.

Also make sure you don't lose your subscribers if you do sell it; Bornformoney gave a good example of collecting your subscribers' emails. Do something like that so you can keep marketing to them. You could even get them to subscribe to a secondary channel.
 
Do not sell. You never know which video can turn super viral making multiple times revenue of what that guy is offering. Also $550 is absolute peanuts. You must laugh at him.
 
I wouldn't sell such a channel. I'm sure you can make a lot more than that with that high amount of views daily.
 
I'm sure that you have invested relatively big amount of your own time for the channel so 550$ won't even cover the value of your work. I'd say that your channel has potential and if some of the videos get noticed you'll soon be an authority in Youtube's dubstep scene ;)

Don't sell, let it grow and as someone said before me: just laugh at that ridiculous offer!
 
Don't sell, seems like your doing alright with it and him offering you money means there is more potential there, work harder at it and make more money.
 
Don't sell it, there is a way better chance to make more money by holding on to it, I never sell my channels, even when they are old and I stop using them, you never know when your videos are going to get popular.
