I've a domain. It's of 7 letters. It sounds a bit like a chinese name but have a PR of 5.

I'm new in selling domains, so can you guys suggest me what my domain worth?

Give more details like age, cf/tf/ pa /da . Only PR value is not enough.

CF/TF=0 is a big red flag, have u check its links profile?

Ok, as i'm new to this i don't understand what exactly you mean by link profile. But the ahref's report show this:

DA = 38 and 1.5 years old. Google hasn't updated it's pagerank in last 15 months and it's impossible to gain PR5 within 3 months from the time of registration so obviously, the PR5 you see is fake and the domain is not even worth its registration fee.

:1: You're burned there, next time try not to judge a domain based only on outdated PR, 5 is a good number i agree but PR can be faked with redirect and the last PR update was more than a year ago, from the age alone u can tell that the site gain PR by faking it, a 1 month old site (at last PR update) with PR5??

I bought this domain when it expired and was PR5 already.

I think you didn't get my point. You said the domain is 1.5 years old so it must be first registered on Sept 2013 and Google's last PR update is on Dec 2013. The previous owner had 3 months time to publish content and get links. From all those links gained within that 3 months, you wouldn't get PR5 and if that site gained so much popularity within that 3 months to get PR5, there's no reason the previous owner would let it expire. The ahrefs chart you shared alone speaks volume about the quality of the links. Don't waste your time on that domain.

As you guys know about this, i wan't to know that what will be a good domain then?

What should i see before purchasing my next domain - age, pr, pa, da, cf, tf, e.t.c.?

Age- I don't really put as much weight on this but obviously the older the better. More importantly is who had owned the domain during it's life time. What do the use it for? Did they use it and abuse it then drop it?

PR- I look for anything over pr 4 but since I don't know your goals or what you are using it for or price range, then this might be a little rich for you.

DA- 30ish+

TF- 20ish+ This is an important one. I usually check this first if it doesn't pass this test then I pass on it immediately. Your standards may be lower or higher depending on your goals.

CF- Not as worried about this as long as everything else is in line.

Domain name- Is it brandable for what you are using it for?

-ahrefs- Important to check where the bl are coming from, nothing spammy looking.
-ahrefs- Look at anchor text, nothing spammy looking. High percentage of keywords? If so it might be a pass.

Another thing to look for is in ahrefs, click on the top pages and it will show the top pages of that domain, usually the top page is the home page but I uncovered some gold on one domain that I was able to pick up. The home page had PA57 TF26 but an internal page had PA63 TF42, it also had some other great internal pages.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of this.
Good Luck
