I got offered a job to do direct media buys for a company offering mobile content. The interview's on friday.

I didn't expect them to call me for an interview, just had a chat with a guy from the development team, he asked me to send in my cv, and 2 hours later got an email back asking to come in friday to interview.

I'm not sure how much to ask for the salary. Anyone have experience with this?

*i mean make. How much do they make. Long day.. huh

How long's a piece of string?

I live in south east asia. This is my first job in media buying, but i have lots of experience in sales.

I haven't found any other media buyers here for me to sit down with and talk to. This is the last place i would ask if i did have data. I'm just looking for estimates, i'm aware that it depends on a lot of things.

Thread moved to the Media Buying section.

I know a guy online who owns a media company and has multiple media buyers.

I'm not sure what their salaries are, but they are paid a salary + commissions.

So be sure you get commissions for every sale you produce.

Member ''wasted'' is in to media buying. Try droping him a pm, maybe he will find some time to respond

Don't ever cut yourself short, you can easily get skills about media buying working someplace else using their bank roll.

Make sure to pay attention to detail as it will allow you to seamlessly scale without fear of getting replaced until you are ready to get into Media Buying on your own.
