Assuming each vid has an ad on it, 1k to 2k views isnt too much. It all depends on the content. If the content is really relevant with the ads on the video, like (per say) a computer building video, and on the ad would be some computer parts from new eg, that would be a very profitable video even at low views.
You can figure that only 5% or less of people are actually going to click the ad, and the ones that do usually do it by accident, but if your ads are extremely relevant to your video content you can increase the chance of purposeful clicks!
Socialblade usually rates my videos, (which have 1k to 2k per vid) to make about 7-24 a month for all my vids combined, but it changes based on the amount of views and ratings you get each day.
Guess my point is, your not going to be making much of shiet until you reach the 5k sub point and have atleast one viral vid, because that is what is going to keep your ratings exponentially growing and also have leads into your channel and or/ads on videos
