Okay, thanks to everybody.
I've decided to give this a try. Even if don't get accepted as a partner or if I stop before applying, having a YouTube channel with some thousands views can't really hurt so I'm gonna go for this!
The only problem as of now is getting some practice with recording videotutorials, because I have to spend like 1 hour and 7-8 tries just to create a 5 minutes video and this can't be so good

Okay so here is how it works. For every 1000 views, you will get between 1 to 3 bucks. If you are a partner, getting 1000-5000 isn't very hard for you (I'm not a partner but I did it). Smosh has 1 billion views, so technically, they have already earned 3 million bucks considering that you include the time where they are not partnered yet

they earn more than a million per year... not sure how you calculate your stats but simply calculating how much I earn per views and by filling in their views number they have a MINIMUM of 13 million in their bank....and that is without additional ad clicks, ad clicks is probably another 7 million on top of the 13m...
also keep in mind that advertisers can buy specific ads for specific channels so they probably have more high paying ads.
Lol alot of people asking the same question... getting the same answers. i'll going to say it like this.. if your getting a good amount of legit views. then find out for your self. people keep saying 1$ per 1k views LMAO 3 per view 1k??. how come mines mostly be at 5$/6$ per 1k for one video ..... also i think its just certain people.

i use to make around $3 a day with around 4000 hits but then i got click bombed
