Do you rely on Google or paid ads only?

For new sites nothing. I let other sites add links to my posts first, my content strategy is good and I spend good money on it.

Plenty. A lot of time and effort)
I never bought them because I once worked with such a site and it was at the bottom of the output ONLY because of the previously bought low-quality links. I had to detach and do link building manually

Agreed. I bought some on Fiverr and regretted it for months. Pure spam.

It’s very tempting to buy them as finding high DA, follow links is getting so difficult.

I buy now and then but I prefer natural links as they are free LOL

I guess in the early days of almost everyone's experience, we did things we later regretted :D

Ive been "making money online" for about 10 years. Ive spent $0 dollars on backlinks.

And for traffic and customers, i rely on being a nice guy. On being very handsome. On having gone to elementary school and knowing how to capitalize and use paragraphs when i type. On not calling people sir or dear sir. My flawless English, as well as a few other languages. So called "American professionalism". And BHW. And spam.

Seems to work someway somehow :P

Wow
Now that's professionally exceptional

Investing in high-quality backlinks is more important than the amount spent, as low-quality backlinks can harm your website's ranking and credibility. A general rule of thumb is to allocate a reasonable budget for link building and focus on creating valuable content that can attract natural links.

Sir, what's wrong with using the word "sir"?

For some sites I spend $500 per month on others more.

My backlinks acquisition strategy heavily relies on spending less and on only valuable sites that are worth it.

It depends on your needs and budget. A decent monthly budget starts at $500. However, if you’re looking to get higher-quality links, you may need to spend more.
