Hi, I would like to know how much you spend on backlinking services. Is allocating $200 on backlinking services too expensive for a new sites that hasn't generate any income yet? What is your view on it?

this is my experience, if you haven't generate any money yet, it is best not spending any money. try to do it yourself, otherwise you will be ripped off.

My advice: update your website with quality content consistently, then do some onsite seo stuff. repeat this until your site gets a decent traffic. Then move on to the next level, buy quality contextual backlinks and build links slowly and steadily.

Spend it if you can afford it, at worst you'll learn what doesn't work. It's all valuable data.

This ^^Do not go after SEO if you don't have enough cash to spend.

For me...it's $xxxx/site.

It depends. There's lot of variables and strategies. If there were just a working way to rank a site then we all would know and rinse and repeat.

When it comes to seo, you have to live and learn. "If you have money but no time" then invest in linkbuilding service" or "if you have time but no money" then read more in this forum and build those links yourself.

Depends on many of things, your question cannot really be answered.

I treat an SEO like I'd treat a normal PPC campaign, I allocate a test budget like $1,000 say. Forecast what my average ROI would be for a 12 month period and if it's acceptable within my own standards I scale up like crazy, I don't even have a budget like I would spend $30K a month if it'd bring in $100K a month.

It's all about working out what your eCPC is and what your EPC is and if you're making $1 for every 30 cents you're spending then, get scaling that shit as big as it'll go!

Keep doing that until it becomes unprofitable, and then drop it like a rock.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

For me spending that amount of money for backlinking services is fine as long as it provides you with better results. Sometimes it's better to take a risk to gain something.

Thanks for all the feedbacks. I think I will allocated 10%-30% of the profits for linkbuilding.

$0 most backlinking services are not worth the money.

There's no amount that you should be spending for your site, because every site is different. There are always more keywords you could be targeting, more pages of your site you could be optimizing, etc. I don't agree that if you aren't making money you shouldn't be spending money on backlinks because getting your site to rank is the best way to get results and actually get some cash coming in.
