Well, hello fellow BlackHatters!

I know you have your own affiliate programs. You love having people work for you dontcha? ;) I like that too!

So my question is, how much do you pay your affiliates?

I am planning on setting up an affiliate program for my offline business, which runs pretty well. I think I can manage to pay out about 20% per sale to any affiliate, so that leaves a margin for them to employ affiliates for themselves and so on.

But isn't that a little too much? What do you think? How many percent do you pay your affiliates per sale and why?

Thanks in advance!

kind regards,
SICK

Are you charging them monthly? If you are just offer 10% off their monthly bill

No, it's pay per sale. No monthly charges for customers. Affiliates get their reward immediately ;)

Offline business... like normal sales?

at one of the MTV affiliates.... sale people got 12% commission... no salary.

so you can figure it out yourself from those numbers.

Keep in mind how expensive the advertising for a big network is... so 12% might not seem like much but on a network where people are blowing your phone up wanting to run ads.... it can make you some serious money.

I run an online network that is in the herbal weight loss field and we pay between 30-45% of every sale. But how much you pay, or can pay, depends on a number of factors.
