How much do you pay for your good quality content?

I've been scaling up my content orders recently... And have been testing through different writers (mostly from India) and honestly... The work is sub par. Most of my orders are 1000-2000 words and I pay between $.01-$.02 per word.

Just curious, how much do you pay for good quality content? Where did you find it? How much do you usually pay for 2000 words?

If its for normal website i am paying around $1 to $2 per 100 words or if i need content for my news and main websites paying around $5 to $6 per 100 words. You need to find good and trust able writer if you are English is not that good. Mine really sucks.
