How much Do you pay for your Articles?

I think for ok type of quality work, 1$\100 words is a good price especially for Indian writers like me and consider it as market average price.
On the other hand, i would say like other members also said, you will get what you will pay for.
Some writers charge as high as 7.5$\100 words for quality. There is huge difference in quality between 1$\100 words and 7.5$\100 words.
I think that quality writers are hard to get. Mostly people tend to go with cheap rather then quality. I think you will not find any such top quality writer in bhw marketplace or in article offering service thread.

It seems like articles are getting more costlier nowadays, the highest i have paid so far, is $2/100 words, and it was great! Perfect for the purpose which i needed it.

Hell no! :D I wouldn't write for anyone for that..
but for me it's hard to invest any money except the domain registration fee in a brand new website when there is a 95% of chance that it will fail..
a regular website needs like probably 30x 1000 word articles just to start and test the niche, if I pay the $20 per 1k words that some of you are paying that's just $600 on content alone on a very small website...
And I know... some pay much much more than that for their articles...

And you never stopped to think that, maybe, if you purchased some higher quality content, you wouldn't need 30,000 words just to start and test a niche?

Time for me to plug this, since quite a few of you non-content-writers in this thread are brain dead: http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/quality-quantity-speed-pick-two-the-im-triangle.842710/

dude it's all good if you are from US and earn shitloads to be able to pay a good price and get good quality, If I would earn shitloads already and had established business I wouldn't mind paying more for quality..

But what if you are just starting out have close to 0 budget and are broke as fuk but STILL need the articles? What then? :D

Sherb's info still applies. Quality, quantity, price. Pick two. In your case you want quantity and price: as much as you can get for as little as you can pay for it. And that's fine. But you're never going to get anywhere with cheap ass content on a money site.

Ask people who have money sites.

You're looking at content like words on a page. People who pay more for their content are looking at it like results. If I want results, I need to pay to get them. Or I can do the job myself.

You need to do the job yourself. Even Indian writers are telling you you're a cheapskate. They charge $3 per 500 words and you refuse to pay that.

I pay $1.20 per 100 words for premium, well researched and engaging content including publishing on my site with tags, keywords and images included. This is content as good as or better than what I could write myself. I had quotes from other writers for $30 - $60 per 500 word article whereas I'm paying $6.

At that point you do it yourself. You need to brush up on your English skills anyways. Consider it a Duolingo alternative that assist you in advancing your grasp of the English language.

I started out with zero budget. I was writing my own content, scarping my own material, spinning it into original work by hand, shoving it on a Blogspot and praying for 100 hits a day. I wasn't making shit, but I wasn't investing my time wisely.

When I sat down and made a plan, and then followed through on it, that's when things started taking off.

Who do you use on BHW to get your articles written?

I see everyone is saying $1-2/ 100 words is average for content but to be honest I would rather dish out $3-5 per 100 words for quality content. The content on fivver is cheap but is filled with grammatical errors and I have to go over it and sometime restructure it to make sense.
