How much Do you pay for your Articles?

Please don't post useless posts- with pay peanuts get monkeys, I know that already...
Anyway I'm building a lot of websites these days and generally write all the content myself, but oh boy it gets tedious and soooo boring.
Few years ago like 4-5 I used to hire people and pay them like $1.5 for decent 500word article and was able to get rather good quality- but now those days are gone,hahah

Anyway what's the least you can spend nowadays to get Decent quality 800-900word article? I'm not talking about the best content there is, just -an Ok engaging well researched content with good grammar not necessarily from native english speakers.

I pay 3$ - 500 words for medium quality (for link building purposes) and 5$ - 500 words for high quality (readable on moneysites)

As for 900-1000 words content just double the prices above.

It takes me 15-20minutes to write a 500word article in a niche I'm familiar with.
Damn.. like 5years ago I was hiring people to work for me for $0.50 per hour to do simple online tasks. at the moment It seems like I will have to keep writing the stuff myself at those rates because no1 want to get up his ass for less

You grow in business and they too grow. I find it surprising to see folks getting moneysite quality for $1 per 100.. But, yes..it depends on the target audience. I find writers that are passionate in their niche and aren't exposed to writing. So, I have built a good quality team for various niches. You can get those kinda people in niche related forums and many might not know what to quote and they will be happy to accept whatever you offer!! Though it should be a fair and decent offer

$12 per 1000 words, got the writer from upwork. Just start with $8/1000 words, order 1 article, if the article is good then increase their rate slowly. If the article is garbage, use it for 2nd tier and find new writer.

No, it's not.

I write tier 2 content for $2/100 minimum no matter the order size. Moneysite content goes as high as $7.50/100.

You get what you pay for. You can choose to use $0.50/100 or $50.00/100 content, depending if you are peddling Clickbank or need a feature article for a magazine in print...

I found a seller on fiverr which was really good, she was American, charged me 75 dollars for 4 articles with related getty images. They were really well done, no need for revisement, it wasn't spun at all. 100 percent unique. unfortunately can't find her on there no more. All articles were between 600 to 700 words

I remember when I hired people to write for me. That was 6 years ago. I'm a nitpicker and tend to edit even a $10/100 word article.

You know that if you pay cheap prices you're going to get crap, yet you are looking for the cheapest price you can get a readable article.

OP, would you seriously write a 500 word article for me for $1.50? Because if you're willing to do it yourself, then I won't complain about you finding other people to do it for you.

But if you're thinking "Hell no," then I have to ask why you would ask someone else to do that.

Hell no!

I wouldn't write for anyone for that..
but for me it's hard to invest any money except the domain registration fee in a brand new website when there is a 95% of chance that it will fail..
a regular website needs like probably 30x 1000 word articles just to start and test the niche, if I pay the $20 per 1k words that some of you are paying that's just $600 on content alone on a very small website...
And I know... some pay much much more than that for their articles...

I personally charge about $1/100 words, considering I am a native english speaker I think I am undervaluing myself, however for a bit of side money I do not mind.
