How big is your list, how often do you email them, and how much do you make per month?

Depends on what you promoting man. For IM, i think the conversation rates should be higher than to offering services to offline businesses. I did them both and the IM conversation rate was around 2-3%. For offline biz, it not that great, only around average 1.5%. I believe offline biz owners do want to have face to face chat after all.

well I make a quite a happy amount.
my activities include
1. Email marketing + CPA
2. Email Marketing packages for my clients.
3. Email marketing local business
4. some strategies are better left unsaid :D

When I was getting someone to send out my craigslist mail, I was making 1k weekly! Was only sending 10k to people daily on CL. But CL is full mostly poor people who are ignorant, and I'm moving on to Social Networking now....primarily Linkedin;) I've been an internet marketer for 6 years now, and I have to say that email marketing is one of the top ways in my opinion, to making money online.
 
its depend on the product you are promoting.. and also on your list
 
It really depends on how quality the list is, How better authority we have with our list, what product we promote. People earn good amount with 10K email list. Some person not earning much with 1M email list.
 
I agree boosturrank , hygienic list can do wonders while an unhygienic list can destroy not only your email sending infrastructure, IPs but also your dream of earning money or generating leads.
 
So has the new gmail update destroyed email marketing? Is it worth getting into?

I also wonder about this, but giving it some though. I think that Gmail new Update is not only great for the user, but it might also be good for email marketing, it has both good and bad things.

We will findout sooner or later.

I am VERY interested in purchasing an email list in the health arena. I will spend good money on this list, however, I would like some kind of independent verification that the list is actually responsive with real email addresses that go to real people. Does anyone have any idea where/how to purchase such a list? My current list is over 100k and has a 22%-27% consistent open rate. I know how to get the right people to open our emails... just looking to acquire the best lists to add to our current one. Thanks!
 
FYI: And because I am a newbie, I cannot PM anyone who may have such a list for purchase. Not sure how else to get into contact with someone selling such lists.
