Yesterday I only made $1500, but the day before I did $3298. Fridays are always bad for me.

Fridays also not so good for me usually, but this one was a good one as had a set of new affiliates on board!

Let's do it the other way around, how much does the op make.
Let x be the amount of money the op makes.
Let y be what I make
y = 5x + y
Solve for x

y - y = 5x + y - y
0 = 5x
0/5 = 5x/5
x = $0
