Actually its stupid and dangerous. Lately IG is on banning spree for links in profiles, and changing your link often to accommodate some potential buyer for $10 or even $100 is stupid move.

it depends on your own personal rates. Ive emailed a few big accounts and her price was $1000 for a shoutout!!! Some people make their money with surveys completed by their followers too and so it can range from what I have read.

I make few bucks indirectly.
The main problem with instagram is the slow process of using other people photos or videos. Im following around 1000 users on instagram most of these are girls (insta models) all I do is use instasave and download their photos to use these on my other social media accounts (i have some fb pages with hot girls) and from time to time I share a cpa link or just an amazon offer on some of these fb pages.
I know there are models specially in my country (latin america) who sell shot-outs and live of it. thats a way of profit directly from Instagram. I have done some paid posts with these girls about some of my free blogs and the clicks are poor but the price per post is high (around $10-$20). Many of these girls use instagram as a facade to sell other "services".
Ill give you another idea of how i make some indirectly money:
I have a freeblog of girls dresses, mostly nightclub dress, I sign up for some online shop that offers affiliate program with nightclub dresses (specially from china) etc... and I take all the models who are wearing hot looking dresses to my blog and I must manually find the dresses on the affiliate program website. its slow. ya, but it pays few bucks. 2 instagram girls are making money with this same method but they wear the dresses themselves.
Try to ask a model for free photos or holding a sign or something for your blog. Ask the low-fame models so they can grow more fame from there.
