I just recently started doing local SEO. Normally I do national level seo or international seo.

But I see the appeal of local SEO. Its easy to sell, clients are undemanding and unknowing.

I charge local clients, in the small country of austria, between 150$-300$ per month. Its an easy sell, and so far the price has never been an issue. I then buy seo content and PBN Domains, brainless and easy.

I think its really easy to sell to local people, but you need staff who will cold call a lot of people before you get any meetings. Once you get a meeting, its not very hard to sell them something and get a return on the calling staff.

What do you charge and how do you experience the sales process? Do you call yourself or do you hire people to do the calling? What do you charge per month as a minimum?

Range from $100-$1000 per month for small businesses, but I've heard of others doing much better than that.
The best way to advertise for local SEO services is by proving what you've done locally (rank high on local SEO keywords).

your sweet spot should be between 299 and 699 a month. At that price point you should not have any issues landing customers.

Anywhere from $200-$1000 depending on the amount of keywords that I am working with and the search volume/competition.

It should really depend upon competition and the sort of work you need to undertake. Charge what you deem appropriate for your time and associated expenses.

Was you getting paid to setup the lead portals or was you getting it all setup for free and hoping to sell hot leads?

Nope, I set them up myself to sell leads. Most leads needed work done (home renovation) within the next few days. Easy sale, no one was buying. Some said they were too busy....

The higher the authority score and the more backlinks your competitors have, the more you'll have to invest in SEO to outrank them.

depends what will cost to me and what they will earn, if they will rank for x position, if I dont fill I can make them happy, or they are cheap ass, I don't work with them.

But I have a medium, firm with various locations that pay me, over 5k a month.

I dropped the ones that paid very little, or I asked for a raise, in the monthly fee some accepted some not, now I work less and earn more.

It's really depends upon the niche, competitors and keywords. Around $200 - $700 will be for work for small business.

Actually it's a great topic to discuss.. lots of useful ideads and suggestions.

What lead generating websites are you guys using? do they work globaly for non English speaking countries?

The best way to generate leads is to hit up Adwords / Adcenter and get building a profitable PPC account.

If you're paying $50 per lead, you can be damn sure the affiliate is hitting atleast 100% ROI on every lead. That means you could be getting leads for $25 or under and have full control over the lead flow.
