How much do proxy/vps companies make?

Out of curiosity.. How much do proxy/vps sellers make? Is the profit in the 5-figures, or 6 figures per month or more?

Just doing some research on the size of the market for a related companion upsell product, and a possible related BH-edition if its worthwhile.

I notice theres nearly 900K members on the BHW. I would throw out a wild guess that only a tiny slice of members are still active in IM/SEO/BH today, and an even tinier slice use tools that require proxies. If I had to throw out a number, I'd say less than <5% total membership use 1 proxy, and <.5% (half of 1%) use 100+proxies.

Is this ballpark estimate accurate, or am I completely off?
 
let me say this. just 1 of my sig slots squid proxies has rented my sig for 4 years.
i can track every click on my sig to that product. 90k clicks in 4 years
proxie use is alot more common than u think, Total Clicks 89,192

wow, double my estimates... so nearly 10%, and thats not including the audiences on non-BHW online spaces like WF, etc...

I read a report that IG estimates there are (or were) 40-50 Million Bots... So I can imagine what you are stating is completely accurate.
 
i track my stats on all 3 of my sig users year on year, helps me no when im due a raise .
but users use proxies for a ton of things. from url scrapers . content posting
account making, ide prob say a bit higher than 10% as seo / proxie use go
hand in hand
