How much do I need to invest?

Hi everyone,

The question is a bit vague so I would try to elaborate more:

So, I've been in BHW for a while and I've been reading a lot of methods, from Twitter + cpa to Pinterest + Amazon or the porn niche. However I am not very convinced about those methods.
I've tried the Amazon + Pinterest but I didn't have success with it so I got very frustrated.

I am a graphic designer, I can do good things with Illustrator and photoshop. I am also learning HTML/CSS. I tried to try fiverr but I am not having luck there either. (I feel there are better people in fiverr).

So, finally I decided to build a website, try to rank it in google and learn about Keyword research. I've read through the forum and I think a solid method, however it requires some initial investment and a lot of hard work. My main concern is the inital investment.
I am thinking about a few niches:

-Gaming (I think is kinda saturated and also a very special niche)
-Hardwares (GPU, Proccessors)
-Health Niche
-Internet Marketing
-Sports


So, these are my questions:

- How much to I need to invest?
- How long does it takes to rank your website?

I read here, and a lot of people have been making like 1K per month or more with websites. I know it takes a lot of time and patience to make that amount of money, but I am a very patience person.

Stay away from the Health and Internet Marketing niche if you are starting. I would go for like game hacks niches and monetize them with CPA.
Try to learn Keyword research first and see for yourself which niches are difficult and which aren't

Isnn't the gaming hack niche a bit saturated already?. I've seen thousands of webs with this method.
