How much do I charge for SEO?

Hello! I've been learning SEO for a while and I'm just about to start working with my first client. My question is how should I calculate prices for different websites?

Let's start with an example. A small website with 3 under pages and 20 articles I could charge a set monthly fee. But that monthly fee would not work if the website I was working with had 50 under pages and 200 articles and 100 items that they are selling via the website. How would I go about calculating prices for the two different websites as the second one would require a lot more work?
