I made around 7k before tax this year from pinterest traffic with adsens and some with PPD on youtube at the start of the year. I did make a bit before that but it was from sites that got killed by panda lol and that was not much over 1k. This was my first year in IM but I ran a couple of sites before I was trying to make money online for fun and programming experience so I didn't have problems with making sites look good I think a lot of people have problems with that. The youtube thing seemed to get hard and just ended up with everything I did getting removed so I gave up on it and moved onto pinterest. I hope I can start to make IM into a full time job over 2013 that is my goal anyway.

I know a lot of people in the SEO space got hit after penguin, but the upside is that those who are just getting started in this climate are doing so in tough conditions...that forces people to be creative, determined and to produce decent content, and that is a good thing.
