Nope, i use it too. Not as the primary browser may be, but it is my second favourite after safari right now.

Firefox has been my first choice for over 10 years... now, for tests I use Edge.
Personal choice.
But I still don't understand why people use chrome to build links (as an example)

Well I am not sure, but I can tell you that I still have to use Chrome for my job being a web dev. Firefox is cool with the inspect element panel (possibly better than chrome), but I am not used to it that much. I am much more used to chrome's version of inspect element, and that's why I cannot get rid of it.

It does not matter which browser you use.
Once you log in to your G mail it tracks down
all your browser activity - every tab you opened
and every site you have been visited, as long as
you are logged in to your G account. And that is not
something new, even 15 years ago it was like that.
But it is not that bad. It can be very useful if you
loose your browser data for some reason. You can
access all that data yourself and reconstruct your
important project lot easier than this data was not
saved. It helped me a lot long time ago (15 years ago)
so Im aware of it since then.

It wouldn't blame chrome for this, you probably have DNS leaks. Test it online, there is bunch of websites for that.
But you also could have GPS enabled, and again, not chromes fault, same can happen in any other browser.

started acquiring tokens 7 days ago, but I'm pissed off because they only allow you to withdraw to centralized wallets and since the principle behind crypto is anonymity and privacy, dealing with centralized wallets is exactly the opposite of anonymity. The crypto industry has barely gotten to 5% of the planet's population and 90% of it is already centralized or in the hands of the same old mobsters (google, amazon, facebook and so on). It makes me vomit, honestlyAt least I get BAT tokens rather than advertisements.

Chromium has lots of garbage too. For example, when you login to Youtube on Chromium while incognito, it logs you to browser with the same Google account.
Because of things like this there are projects that strip all Google services from Chromium (like ungoogled-chromium).

A VPN doesn't cover your tracks. A lot of them claim they don't keep any logs but they do. They just lie to you to get your money.
Adding to that every VPN's IPs are like a toothless crack whore. Used and abused to death.

Who knows what data chrome sends to google. But Google knows what we want to look for.
