How much CTR is required for YouTube to boost the video. Please drop suggestions.

Also wanted to know like what scenarios youtube look for a video to rank on search results

15% also I heard from a previously deleted thread that if you want your video to be boosted you need around 70% organic views and 30% external views. External views are apparently very important.

I want to know how to get External views

I think external views are any views that you buy. So what you have to do is buy for example 1000 watch time views, then your video will already have a lot of watch time so it will be boosted organically and will have external.

Nah 15% is very high

It usually takes about 10% CTR to get picked up by browse features and your video gets boost.

As your video starts to get boosted, if your CTR drops below 6 it will stop getting push.

YouTube algorithm is very complex but if it is well understood and you have some good sources than you can easily use panels to make unlimited YouTube channels in different niches and scale them all to 6 figure youtubes.

Please don't buy external views! they don't help you at all. The more real people watch your clip, the more they will be recommended to watch your other clips. If you buy bots, the youtube algorithm will only recommend your other clips to other bots. You are literally stabbing yourself in the back by buying views. Instead, just wait. If don't know what I mean, try to watch one of your videos by creating a differetn youtube account or with the one you may already have.

then when you post a new clip, and you are logged into youtube with the account that watched the clip, you will definitely be recommended, and thus shown the clip, but that won't be on the top 8 for sure, but if you scroll, you are likely to see it. I bought views for one of my dead channels, it is dead for a reason, no it is hard to even get 10 views organically, because all the clips I post are suggested to the bots first and depending on their reaction (which is pretty much nothing) it will go to the rest, which is again noone.

I do agree, and think sometimes even lower CTR can work, even if your clip has a higher watch time. I

Based on my experience, you need 10% plus for YouTube to push it beyond the amount of viewers it usually pushes it to. 15% and up to have a real chance of going viral. Your mileage may vary.

If there was a definitive number we'd all be viral, CTR is just a small part of the puzzle

I have went viral enough times to tell you that CTR is the largest part of the puzzle a long with Audience Retention.

This guy explains it perfectly, never boost your video or channel with a bot if it's a channel you are trying to grow. Bots are only good for CPA channels and those side projects but never for a channel you plan to take serious and grow.

If buying views hurts the channel can we take down our competitors with it?

Deleted member 1501362 but can't you in theory train the bots on a certain niche and then use these on your own channel? Then the alogirthm should identify the niche your channel belongs to and push it out to non-bots that follow that niche. I just don't know if any SMM panels would do that though because they are all outsourced from one another.

Edit: I know what you mean with it will recommend to bots first, but does YouTube look at old audience retention too? If the old audience is replaced by a new audience can't you beat the algorithm this way?
