How much can you earn with a trading bot?

I was in forex since 2012, never got profit in long term, just lost money and health with that, and never did see someone be consistent with trading, let’s say the trader is a genius, make 6% per month with 1.000 usd in 1 year would have less than 2.000, with the right skill and a good offer in Facebook ads would be easier have 2 to 3x of ROI, better than wait 1 year, I would suggest stock makers only if someone has more than 1M usd in net worth, but buy and hold and never trading

Exactly. Everyone pretends as if trading is a skill, but it really is just gambling with a system. LIke most gamblers with a system, they still lose, just a lot slower. And only very few have a lucky streak that makes them have profit, but give them a long enough run, and it goes away, too.

I wish trading would work. But I have seen too many people fail it to even try.

I just wish this get rich quick scheme would disappear from the internet.

Trading is just a scam. It's exactly like gambling, except no social stigma to it.

It's a delusion to think you can predict what's happening next with so many things beyond your control. It's a deep, deep rabbit hole where brokers tell you taht if you lose money, you just don't try hard enough. Just like casinos let you think you can win if you play enough or have a better strategy.

But no matter how much you study and analyse the the roulette table, at the end of the day, you will never know what comes next, and only maybe correctly GUESS it.

The amount of people LOSING money trading vs the ones who actually win is very similar to how many people make money with gambling versus how many are losing.

The only people who make money in trading are the middlemen (brokers) who take a cut for a service without risking capital, and the ones who can actually control things in their favour by rigging it. Inside trading. It may be illegal, but it happens quite a lot I bet, at least at the top level of things.

But you will NOT be able to predict any market's future based on what it did in the past.

Even If I make 3% per month constantly on my capital. I would be good..

but day trading generating 1-5% is incredible.
There are many investment opportunities where you get a 3% return. Look at trading 212 for example. You can put your money in there and without making any trades, still get a return. I forgot what it's called from the top of my head, but that gives roughly 4%Screenshot 2024-12-04 063040.png

A good trading robot is one that is flexible and customizable, so it can adapt to different market conditions and trader preferences.

Hello, everyone. I'm full stack & blockchain developer. I developed many trading bot from customers like sniper bot, arbitrage bot, volume bot, etc.
In my experience, when users use trading bot, they can earn 1~5% income of the capital invested daily.
However, it's important to note that these figures are not guaranteed and can fluctuate depending on market conditions and the bot's performance.
Day trading worth depends on individual circumstances, risk tolerance, and expertise. While it can offer significant profits and flexibility for some.
Really depends. Its risky

Trading bots can offer 1-5% daily returns, but results depend on market conditions and risk tolerance.

This sounds like a bulshit of youre gonna get banned quickly when try to sell without permission. Good luck both ways.

If there were a bot that works so well, a lot mor epeople would use it. I have never seen proof of one working so well tbh. I can be wrong, I am not expert, but if you have a working bot (with proof), I willingly buy it off you for a couple grand.
Well I agree to an extent. I am have developed multiple crypto bots over the years. The bots that make money you can’t buy why would I sell a performing bot to someone in order to increase competition? The most important factor in a crypto bots is response time and being the first to execute transaction. So I would lose money selling my bots to others. If you have in depth knowledge the programming language you pick and ALL aspects of blockchain services, cloud computing and CEX/DEX functions it’s quite easy to make money with bots. The only way I would be open to even developing a bot for an individual would be selling it like an operating business.

Anything bot you find or can download on the internet will either steal your money or make 0% return and will lose money with gas fees.

Basically if you want a good return on a crypto bot you’re not gonna to find it with a bot running on your PC at home.

Arbitrage is a very competitive area, you're against big boys with huge financial power. It's tough these days.

I used to develop and run a sandwich bot + a frontrun bot, a bit better for profits, but different usecase and more complex to setup.
A very fast RPC + very low latency is as important as your setup btw.
And 100% agree with Cummster : either you run some shaddy code from github or download a random bot and get scammed/drained, or develop it yourself but enjoy burning your money in gas fees.

However I made a nice sniping bot for pump.fun and actually earned some profits, but it's very competitive + you compete against other bots (= bots get sandwiched each other) + 99% of the time you snipe a rugpull, so it's very risky.

thanks @Pwik I’ve lost my fair share of $$$ doing trial in error with bots I was developing when I first started, very frustrating at the time but learned a lot of things doing it tho.

But I’ll be honest on this there are ways to make a good chunk of change with bots, but one thing I did learn, is no YouTube video or GitHub bot is going to hit anything significant in my experience seeing some of the code. When I first got into this I saw people were charging 50k to 100k for advanced bots, I thought they were high. Now I know exactly why.

Quite frankly, I don't even believe it CAN exist. Stocks are not predictable. It's just gambling.

The amount you can earn with a trading bot varies widely and depends on several factors. You can expect anywhere from 5% to 30% annually in profits if you're using well-tested and stable strategies, but anything higher should be viewed with caution.
