How much can 1 adsense click get you?

I heard only about 10 cents?

Is that true or is it more.. I don't think it would be much more than that.

My max has been ~3$ but i guess if you target realy good keywords you can get alot more :)

I have gotten one for almost $10 before. It is very rare. Most of mine run around $1 to $2 per click but if you are in a bad niche that does not pay well you can expect about $.10 a click. Sites like humor sites, song lyrics sites, ect do not pay well.
 
So say you were to get your very first click on a Graphics site. You would get somewhere between 0.10 - 1$?

Most likely yes. Even on established sites, your average click will probably be anywhere from $0.10 to $1.00.
 
On a graphics site I would guess $.10 to $.50 but that is a guess. You get into legal or finance niches and you see $1+ clicks almost every time but in niches that done pay well like graphics I do think you will see that a lot.
 
Some keywords to pharmaceutical malpractice attorneys used to pay more than 30-40 bucks per click. Don't know if that is still going on. Medical malpractice is still a profitable niche though, but hard to compete in.
 
I sometimes get around $10 a click. There are many niches that are very high paying. Just do a Google search for "high paying Adsense keywords" and prepare to be amazed.
 
My clicks average 3-6.00. Def good return on my time.
 
So its all about the niches. So google just detects the niche of your site and pays you based on that.
 
The best one time click I ever got was $12, for the year I'm averaging $0.48 a click across all my sites, this includes both high and low paying adsense sites.

Jonathan 247, Google actually uses a complicated method for how it sends ads to your site.

Google does detect what your site is about, and will send appropriate ads for that niche, as best they can, but it also takes into account things like:

The age of your site.
The quality of your site (based on several things).
The amount advertisers are willing to pay for the ads.
The CTR on your site.
The quality of traffic you are sending to advertisers.

Unfortunately, no one knows all of the things that they use to determine payments, and those that do probably wouldn't just give that info away.
 
Highest click so far was a around $9. I average $3 in my best niche. It's all about KW research my friends.
 
As others said, it depends on how much advertisers are paying for that. I have websites in some niche that are getting $1 a click, sometimes less, and I also have websites getting 3-5 per click. It depends on the niche.


Here is a little tip to help you increase your earning per click.

You can use

to see what are the ads displaying in your website.

Then use spyfu to see each advertisers ad budget, there are also other websites that will let you see the ads actual value per click but unfortunately all are expensive tools.

After you know the ads that are paying small, you can filter them out in your adsense Allow and Block Ads section.
