How much caffeine do you take everyday?

600 mg since about 4 months. I think I crossed 800 mg lately.

I sleep 15 hours now as something with hormones occurs at that amount.

I don't drink alcohol on the other hand. It comes as a replacement sometimes.

If you do gym, work physical and work mental, that's 14 hours of doing stuff. It doesn't even feel a lot of caffeine.

I drink 2 cans of soda... So I'm at about 68mg/day. But I still want to drink less. Try drinking it slower throughout the day. If you are drinking it all at one you are only getting one big spike.

One big spike x4 hehehe. Going for 2 grams a day!

No, don't try. Only if you have huge tolerance you can cross 400 mg without feeling insane.

I was building my tolerance for about 6 months, so now... I can enjoy fruits of my hard work drinking coffee and feeling nothing!

I’m on approximately 200 mg/day
Rookie numbers. You're going to have to pump those numbers up!

I actually weigh my coffee with a scale. I specifically drink Robusta coffee, since it has a higher caffeine content than Arabica.

Robusta has about 2.2-2.5% of caffeine. All of that caffeine isn't obviously going to get dissolved in normal coffee brewing, so only about 1.5% of the dry weight is going to get dissolved into the coffee as caffeine.

I drink precisely 80 grams (dry weighted) Robusta coffee each day, which comes to around 1200mg. I also like to drink a lot of different specialty teas, so on those days I subtract my coffee intake respectively.

Being completely honest, I'm very addicted to the stuff and the only reason I don't die from that amount of caffeine is because I have been building my resistance to caffeine since I was 11 years old.

Now we know how Juhku can run an agency being 19 year old.

Even I take tolerance breaks from time to time.

He's an expert. Should have a coffee agency.

I just drink one cup of coffee a day.
How?? Teach me your ways o wise one!
I'm not sure how much, but no less than 3 cups a day
Google says ~300 mg.

Those numbers are wild for me no matter the level of activity. I’d get palpitations and a nasty crash if I took those amounts.

Funnily enough the energy lasts longer for me if I take it in all at once. Or maybe I’m just not spacing it right and taking it too far apart.

Whattt?? Like I said above, I just get palpitations and incredibly fidgety anytime I get over 400 mg. Maybe you’re just built different? :D

I’ve been taking caffeine for about 10 years. My body still can’t get used to higher doses. :(
I drink about 7-8 cups of coffee a day, so around 600-700mg I guess. Been doing that for years, no problems at all.
Yes! I can tell from your about me page.
How do you space these 7-8 cups of coffee? One every 2 hours or so?
Around 1 coffee per week
It’s too much my friend. Are you not worried about side effects?

It depends... I need to eat first, then drink. If I don't eat, any amount will make me feel jittery and crash. The speed at which I've been attempting work, gym and other things makes me a speed champion and a perfect example of someone who could be a top meme in "gym idiots video". No, I've only done 9 sets of 3 weightlifting exercises in 20 minutes. Other people do that in 90 minutes. So there's something to it...

Used to drink ~1000mg of caffeine a day and found it barely provided any boost and just raised my baseline "awakeness" up. Stopped drinking it 2 weeks ago and im about as productive as I was at 1000mg per day without the issues of sleep or it being near impossible to work without caffeine

Who doesn't like a little bit of dependency, especially as a programmer...

Dependency is a famous word in software engineering if someone doesn't know.

You might want to try L-theanine. It's a substance that is extracted from green tea. It helps counteract the 'bad' effects of caffeine.

Though, if you get that bad side-effects at just 400mg, you would probably pretty quickly drop dead at doses over 1 gram, so beware.

I have no idea. Probably just being Finnish contributes a lot to that. Finns drink the most coffee in the whole world per person. It's a very big and important cultural thing here, so many people start drinking coffee at a very young age, myself included.

Been drinking large amounts of coffee ever since I was 11 years old. Since the brain is still at developing phase at that age, my brain has most likely adapted to high caffeine doses in neurobiological level pretty deeply.

On the contrary, I can not be without caffeine for even a day. I get very bad headaches if I don't have at least 400mg a day.
