How much articles / Backlink do I need to get some mufugin TRACTION ?

I already know that it depends.


But I'm asking in average.

I'm sitting on 70 articles (not really optimized, that's true, as I'm just translating content) and 50 BL.

Getting those 50 BL took me hours and hours and hours of research to find the spot, and then to put them in.

And I'm getting 20 visitors a day.

I'd need to be on 200 visitors a day at the very least.

I'd like to get 2000 visitor a day but my niche is so shitty that I just can't get that volume without diversifying, which is what I plan to do later.

Anyway, just what's a good spot to start making gaining TRACTION with a blog ? How much articles + backlinks ?

It depends.

Not but really now. You would expect to see traffic starting to come in after the blog is older than 8 months. Even so, those 50 backlinks can help or can be useless depending on the type of links you built. As for the articles, 70 should be enough for 2000 visitors per day as long as you did proper keyword research before writing them. Overall, let your content age a little and then you will have an idea of how many visitors it can bring.

Thanks ! Well those are backlinks that I've posted on some message board ya know.
So... not the type of backlink you get from a guest post on a niche relevent website.
Now... 8 Months ??? Why so long ? It's like a full year !
 
I forgot to ask if you're using original content that actually answers the SEARCH INTENT of the keywords/themes your content targets.

Yup I am , people are staying in average 2m30 on my site

THe website, when launched, is placed in a sandbox, to avoid spammy websites from ranking.
 
You don’t need to have any links to get traffic. You just need to spend your resources (time/money) on finding low comp keywords.

With enough time, you can find low comp keywords in any niche. The number of articles will vary based on the volume of your keywords. You can get 6000 visits a month with 1 article or 1000.

In general, 15-20 low comp keywords should be enough for 6000 pageviews.

Yep. Depending on the sub-niche, a site's stay in the Google Sandbox can range from 6 to 8 months to a couple of years (for very competitive niches).

I rank sites without backlinks so with a decent BL network, a site's Google Sandbox stay might be shorter.

there ARE spammy websites ranking, though. This excuse is to fool newbies, in reality google doesn't like everyone making money. If they could, they would restrict the rankings to rich people only
 
I think you are focusing on the wrong strategy, you just said "how many articles/backlinks"; already you are thinking on the number not on the quality.
If i were you i would do this: try to optimize the articles, add images, do the keyword research right, you might target the wrong keywords with your content this might be a reason for low traffic.
