How much are you making with your iPhone/Android Apps?

My first App is almost ready, just wondering what kind of money people are making with apps either paid or free ones. I plan to keep it free and monetize with advertising.thanks..

It depends upon how many apps you have or the budget you spent on downloads. Its clear from the past few weeks, app store can be manipulated. so if you have the right budget, you can hit the sweet spot soon. One of my client who is having 100+ simple free quiz apps are making $xx,xxx per month from just advertising.

From my experience IOS can make you more money than android apps.
 
Well I am not making any app. But I have heard that people are making millions a day. Now a days PC's software's are not that much profitable as mobile apps are :)

Interesting. Does your client create the quiz apps himself or outsource it? Have a few ideas so looking for an optimal way to get this done and the cost for the same .

He is my client and he outsourced to us..
 
Yes, you will make much more on iOS...I make 10x on iOS versus Android...
 
I have submitted my first app on the App Store and bought another one today. Will be flipping them at a later stage. Testing the waters now myself. But Apps are where you have to be today!
 
I have 9-10 different apps ready, but I can't publish them as I can't afford the developer program. Anyone need a cheap app developed? ;)

i have a twitter app getting over 1,000,000 page views within the app each month but not making me much money yet. i need to figure out a way to monetize it better.
