@wwsosop !
Yeah exactly, it’s a power move. He’s probably bleeding just to make noise and push others out. If you’re converting better, even owning 25% of the page can be more profitable long term. That kind of burn strategy doesn’t last unless the funnel’s airtight. You planning to fight for more share or just let him burn himself out?
I am not a expert on this stuff but I can see the long ads are way less. He went from wildly targeting everything too just a few words and they come and go vs just sticking on every search and everyday in the past.
He only has enough money to power move on one city, if he really had cash he would do it in every city he operates especially the 1 million plus towns that are always busy. He exist in 100+ cities but he targets just one, i can see the cities he targets in his ads transparency. There are bigger and better cities he could target where he has like 10% of any SEO going on instead of one he has 75% just on organic.
I am not going to waste my time or effort here. I was just curious on the price again. I know others who have ran small ads in the city and plead through 250-500$ in a few hours. This fool been running these ads day and night for about 2 weeks. Hate to see the bill. Being in the same profession, this much work does not exist, i know for sure.
My grief is these ads look ***disgusting*** to competitors, I am not use to them. It's not effecting business, just cant stand seeing this brand i guess
I helped someone in the physical therapy niche recently and saw these crazy ads for than one brand to the top which was even more insane. This was a very bad idea by google and not really sure when it started. I miss the yellowpages being it.
I bet in most niches where these ads are being utilizes you will find the same stuff as I did on physical therapy and retail sales:
1. Same brand at top of ads owns 3-7 websites on page on via organic
2. If no one is patrolling. They will own all 3 google maps spots where it matters.
3. They have parasite links galore on anything that ranks.
