How much adwords revenue?

I know it is based on a couple of factors, but I have never ever done Adwords in my life, so I wanna know, if I optimize a site for a kw that cost $1 CPC in adwords, how much can I expect approximately?

Obviously I am not looking for an exact number, a not less than, but on no circumstances more than ratio would suffice.

You can never rely on adwords data but you can use it as a starting point. Don't worry about cpc when you should worry about your own metrics such as EPC and/or LTV.

Alternatively, if you can't increase those metrics then I would go to bing or fb.

Depends on how profitable your offer is and your conversion rate. If your conversion rate is high, you would gain lots of profit even when paying $2 per click.

Its all about how appealing your product is and upon your conversion rates. Do your calculations and figure out how many sales you could expect from say 1,000 visitors and what your budget should be for such a volume.
