How much 100k instagram worth?

Followers matter, but rate of engagement do more. If you get 5000 likes and 200 comments (REAL, not fake) every pic, it's incredibly easy to earn $50 every shoutout. Consider that you can do shoutouts every day... you'd be stupid to sell your account for less than 10k bucks.
If every picture gets 1000 likes and 10 comments...meh, I wouldn't pay more than $300

Why the sell the account for a definite amount of cash while you could keep selling shoutouts everyday and make endless?
Price also goes up with follower count going up...
An account with 5% engagement and 100k followers is worth much more than $100 (going by that logic)....

see it all depends, probably not more than like $600 - $800.. i have a 107K but it's a very specific niche that you can make a LOT of money from t-shirt sales, and just selling other random stuff and people have offered me like upwards of $2,000 for my account, a 500K+ in my niche got offered $20,000, it really just depends, if it gets like 2K-3K likes per photo, and had 100K in the funny vid niche, personally the most i'd pay would be like $500-$600

Anyone noticed a trend here lately? A handful of posts popped up wanting, quoting, selling of IG accs. Some are new users. Makes me wonder if they all are from the same user.
Moderators aren't dumb. They have read all kinds of post sales tricks when they aren't allow to sell without donating.

Personally I think the "funny" niche is too broad. These users are only there for entertainement and usually don't click/buy.

no you can't, stop spreading false information, hahahaha, he's lucky to get a grand, i have over 250K between my accounts, and i know what stuff sells for, getting "a couple grand" off a 100K "comedy" account only happens in la la land

I dont get it. Why do people sell instagram accounts for such low prices? Why would someone want to sell a 100k account for 1000$ when he could potentially make atleast 1-2k with those 100k followers himself in a month?

No one can really tell you how much a 100k account is worth. Only way you could know for sure is to track your earnings over a month and decide after. (The problem with that example is 1 person could earn $100/day and another person could earn $50/day with the same account) Sometimes the person behind the account or the method they use is more valuable. There is just so many variables (niche, engagement, ect.)
