HOW? Moniter competitors Instagram account

Hi,

I have noticed that sometimes when i follow a new Instagram account (a company) then a few hours later i get new followers and they usually like all my pictures. And the follower is usually a competitor to the account i have just followed. And they clearly want me to follow them as well.

How is this possible? Is it possible to track a competitors instagram account and be notified when they get new followers?

These new followers are bots targeting followers from the accouns you just followed
 
this is utter basics of any ig bot.
They use your target/the account you followed as their follow source.

So when you follow their source you get added on their list and they will autmatically follow you.If they want they can choose to like or comment as much as they want on your profile.
