How many words?

Word limit is not applicable for an authority website i believe that word limit is less important compared to the quality of niche and coverage of the website about its content.

800–1,200 words is ideal, but relevance, real traffic, and content quality matter more than word count.

Hello, thank you so much for all of your reply.

What I am asking is about the total number of words in the whole authority website.

Thank you very much

An authority website does not need a fixed number of words in total. It depends on the niche, topics, and audience. Focus on publishing helpful, well-written content that answers users’ questions and builds trust over time.

Depends upon a lot of factors, including but not limited to:
1. Relevance
2. Topic coverage
3. Keyword- both seed and supporting

And instead of focusing on number of words, you should rather focus on what really matters i.e providing legitimate information that covers the topic.

There is no strict word limit for an authority site in my opinion it is more important that you cover the topic and provide high quality answers to the visitors' questions rather than having too many words on the page.

Hello,

May I know how many words in total does an authority website have?

Thank you very much :)
there is not really any set limit to the word count in an authority site.in my experience, there is not really a set number of words in an authority site nd it really varies from niche to niche nd deppending on the number of topics covered. i feel that the quality of the content matters much more than the word count.

Hello,

word count is just a number that will not reveal the authority of the site as i would rather check on how many subjects the site treats well and which pages draw search traffic.

There's no magic number for the total word count. an authority site can have 50 pages or 5,000 pages as long as the content actually answers what users are searching for

however i would not evaluate an authority site based solely on the number of words used. a site that uses fewer words but covers a nichhe properly will outshine a site that has plenty of articles that have no real value to the user.

There isn't really a set word count for an authority site, I don't think. It can be 10,000 words or several million depending on the niche and how established the site is. Probably best to focus more on covering the topic properly and building useful content than the particulars like word count and such.

My aim while writing is just to focus on providing quality content for the viewers that covers my niche. Instead of word count focus om engaging headings, attention grabing CTAs and crisp content that is too the point. The aim is to hold visitors on website and provide them what they are looking for.

however, one need not count the number of words, since even a small website may be an authority on the matter, provided it deal with it. one just has to keep adding page whenever any significant topic comes up.

It is the way to go. Word count is meaningless if the content does not address the reader’s issue. Effective headlines, compelling calls-to-action, and concise content relevant to the reader's search intent will always be more important than simply writing long articles.
