How many words per day for full-time writer ?

I need to hire a full-time American writer. And I'd like to know how many words a day is able to write a full-time writer? (8 hours per days / 5 days per week, with a little research)

Not all writers are the same. Tell your writer what you xpect of them, if they can't deliver the quality (and quantity) find someone else

as skyrocket said, not all writers are same but for your information, an average person can write up to 4000 word a day...

That entirely depends on Kind of work you expect from the writer, for instance if you want him to do thorough research on your niche and niche is less popular or alternatively he has less experience in that particular niche, then he is bound to take more time in order to produce quality content. On the other hand, if he is experienced in particular niche he can produce content more quickly.

Like we have writer who some times produces 4000 words in a day when he is writing on his favorite niche and some times produces as less then as 2000 words only when he is writing on new topics. So choose accordingly.

Gabby, it depends on the topic. If the topic requires an in-depth research, the writer may have to spend 3 to 5 hours in research and 30 to 60 minutes in writing.
