How many words on web 2.0?

How many words should I put on my tier 1 web2.0 sites?

I was thinking 300, is that enough?

anything between 200-300 words is pretty fine enough, there is really no need for longer articles there...

i personally won't put anything greater than 300 words on a non-money site... well, unless thats some high quality / high pr /da /pa site that's really worth the effort

I like to keep them at the 300-400 word range
 
Adding a pic or video is key. Also don't shoot for a specific word count. Mix it up to look more natural. Make some 300 words and others more. I normally shoot for 500 words at a minimum and use multiple images and vids sparingly.

For blogging sites; I have heard that you should post 10 pieces of content relevant to you niche.

Should you link to the money site everytime?
 
200-300 words are optimal for posting on web 2.0s. Just mix them up with a few images and videos. Make sure to break a pattern with an occasional long article though to vary things up a bit.
 
It really just depends. Are these throw away sites that you don't care about or are they part of a long term link building campaign?

Remember you can build mini authority sites with the web 2.0s. If you treat these like extensions of your own site you can build them up also in search engines and use them as traffic generators as well as strong backlinks.

When I used to focus on web 2.0s I would actually try to rank them also. At one point I had 7 of 10 results on the first page using web 2.0s, videos, and my site in one niche.
 
I use 500+ words with videos and pics in into them. This way they are very effective.
 
400-500 words per post. If you will update them with mroe content then you can add more of 300-400 words but a single one should have more words so that it carries some what more weight.

Also i am assuming you use hand written content right?
 
I think you should prepare a good and quality content with 350-450 words before posting web 2.0. During posting content, you should insert related images or videos.
 
An article with a higher word count will have a better chance to rank higher and faster than those with the lower word count. So you should always produce more if it is possible.
