Currently I have 4 quality web 2.0's that have ranked in the top 100 for my keyword. I've been building GSA links to them for the past few weeks and I might look into purchasing some other high DA links towards them. My question is: Are 4 quality 2.0's enough? They are all filled with 4+ unique articles of 500+ words with good keyword density.

Should I be building more?

I would say more. X10 if you can afford. If you can see it starting to work then scale up.

Make as many as you can...It will help you ranking for further position and even you get #1 it will help to maintain it's position.

At least one Web 2.0 for every distinct keyword you are using on the money site.

I've had these for about a month, but I've added some other links to them as well (various BHW suppliers).

If I add more 2.0's should they all be unique as well? Or should I just pay some person on the marketplace to make me hundreds and I can slowly go in them and change the spun articles to ones that I write? I just fear that spun 2.0's will negatively affect my website.

There's is a few providers here that will do web 2.0s with unique articles as well.

How long did it take to get them in the Top 100?
I created some high pr web2.0 too about 2 weeks ago and since then I also made tier 2 with gsa everyday, but not ranked anywhere...even Top 200 :D

Expect a few months, if the main site and each Web 2.0 is new. Also depends on whether you used unique content, got the pages indexed, whether the keywords were low SEO competition, and whether the GSA or other linking to them had good enough quality, or sane link velocity (if you poured 2,000 links in a week on a page that has only 20 visitors, Google can tell that ain't natural link or site development).

It used to work really fast, but since a few months it really takes so long. Of course I only use High Pr and unique articles. Well, we will see :D

Depends entirely on the difficulty of your niche. If you're ranking with 4 web 2.0s, then keep it at 4. What I usually do when I enter a new niche is create about 100-200 Web 2.0 properties using FCS. If I get a site to rank using only 20 of them, for example, then I'll use the remaining ones to build sister sites. Or perhaps create some monetizable web 2.0s on Wizzley or Seekyt and rank those as well.

Using software is the key. It's no more difficult to build 200 Web 2.0s than it is to build 4.

If your competition is tough then build as much as you can until you rank. The more the better.

But there is a difference when you building manual and automatic 2.0s, I believe the point is quality not quantity.
