Wanted to know if having alot web 2.0 profiles is bad. This is sort of a gray hat thing. But Is it safeto hit your $ site with these web 2.0's. Any idea how many is too many?

Thanks in advance

Just the profiles or posts as well??

Don't really know but the more you vary your anchor text the lesser your chances of having a problem. What software are you using to create them?

There is no rule here, I'm afraid. Unless you're Google, there is no way to figure out exactly because each site's profile might be treated differently.

Post penguin, build links very carefully until you learn what works.

Thats exactly why I asked @audioguy

@Tk421 none really set. SEnuke or maybe SB to comment.
Setting up profiles, mabye my own comments to thoes pages...
I was thinking of doing some fiverr gigs for it.

A little weary doing anything to the $ site since panda. I read that the web 2.0's arnet "bad" per say for the money site.. And this money site really needs some help..

Im just kinda stumped what to do.. I figured that the web 2.0's would be a safe bet... Any advice on what to do.

Having lot of web 2.0 profiles doesn't matters with Google updates, But the post should be unique and readable for users. With the recent penguin update, Google has released 2 lists (winners / losers). Some of the sites like digg.com, nextag.com, etc.., were came under losers list, So placing links on those sites will lose its visibility in Google. You must aware of placing links in web 2.0 sites.

When you say profiles do you mean accounts? If so i dont really its about how many accounts you create i think its more about how many pages you build...

There's no cap, really. I've got sites that have links from thousands of Web 2.0s and they are doing just fine (not all).

So long as you have decent unique content, you can have any number.
