Can you get banned for 40+ twitter accs all from one computer/IP?
Try limiting it to about 5 - 10 accounts per IP 40 accounts is just way to much.
what should I do if I want more accs?
I have not created so many accounts with same IP on Twitter. It is good to limit your accounts to 10 accounts.
I heard some guys have a lot more accs? How?
Get a ton of private proxies. That would work.
There are major corporations that use a single IP for thousands of users..... It's not about how many accounts / ip but what you do with them. If all those accounts start mentioning each other and retweeting spam, that'll raise flags, not how many accounts per ip you have.
I use about 1000 accounts on the same IP. I will make a fully, proper post about it since it seems to come up a lot. I have slowly added these accounts over a long period of time, I obey twitters limits VERY meticulously, and I have grown and aged them. Never have problems.
^^ this is exactly right
I use 25 per proxy, and build the accounts by doing VERY little activity a day per account. Works fine for what I'm doing, but if you want to spam on fresh accounts (not recommended of course), then you'd need a lot of proxies, and to spread out the activity over all of them.
Thanks for input...No I am not doing spam accounts I post 10-15 tweets per day with one acc
Put 20 seconds or so between tweets, you should be fine with 100 or so accounts. But, again, if they are cross promoting each other, retweeting each other, following each other, all spamming the same link, etc you're gonna get suspended.
This is about behavior not numbers per IP.
40+ account must be banded per IP.
Separate names with a comma.
