Just follow the Twitter instructions, mostly 2 account is ok..

ok 2 is not to much but ....... thanks

Use as many as you want , I don't think twitter cares. I have more than 5 twitter accounts with one phone number.

Depends how legit your accounts are. It happened to me the other day and I sent them an 'angry' email and they reply and unlocked my account immediately. :)

Indeed, there in nothing the in the Twitter rules stating the number of accounts you are allowed to have on same phone no.

The only thing Twitter cares... actually HATES, is automation. In their rules account blocking due to automation is mention quite a lot.

Do you automate your accounts? Are you using any automation tools? Probably Twitter noticed that (this is just a hypothesis).

Actually there is: https://support.twitter.com/articles/110250

"Adding your phone number to multiple accounts:
You can have the same phone number associated with up to 10 Twitter accounts."

So to answer OP, according to Twitter help center, 10 accounts can be unlocked with the same phone number.
Obviously the less the safer.

Thanks @HoNeYBiRD - searching for the exact answer! But question - if you have one account banned what are the odds the other would get banned as well even if they are on different ip's - unrelated to each other - just phone number?

I have 3 accounts on the same phone number and I had one blocked. During the 'block period' the other two accounts functioned normally. No interferences.

Just to mention, these three accounts are unrelated and I built them manually.

Good question, i'd say no, the new account won't be banned just for this. I haven't tried it, so i'm not 100% sure, maybe others can answer.

But i guess you can try it and you'll see. Worst case scenario: you lose an account.

Thank you @HoNeYBiRD, I didn't come across this page when I did my 'homework' on Social Media rules and limitations.

Sorry for the misleading reply in the above :(
Yea, don't sweat it. :)
The structure of Twitter rules/FAQ isn't a clear cut to say the least, sometimes important things can hide in places where you don't even expect.

Whenever i have a Twitter related question, i just ask Google, which leads to the appropriate place of Twitter help center.

Twitter just allow from 2 to 3 account which can get unlocked with the same tel number. I tried

4-5 account is fine

if you use one number for a lot account all them will be banned

I have had about 50 TW accts permanently suspended over the last 6 months (running CPA links was the reason - I think, they never tell you).

Those accts are gone forever and ever, not the temp suspend you see lots of ppl on here whining about.

I have re-used the phone numbers that were on those suspended accts. No problems for months and months.

Best,

Risk
