How many twitter accounts per IP?

I currently have 43 accounts running on a single IP.
They all follow/unfollow between 0-1 minutes and each follow/unfollow about 400-500 a day.
All been fine for quite a few weeks with some for months.
I'm yet to see any maximum number of accounts that can be used on the same IP. I assume that's why Twitter have a maximum of API calls... to limit the IP address, regardless of the number of accounts running on it.

i tried with 5 accounts per ip and even after 1 month they are still working great.

Great question. I've been wondering this myself re: Y answers.
EIt's interesting that almost everyone has different numbers. Some with less accounts on more IPs get banned, some with more accounts on less IPs get left alone. Says it probably has more to do with account habits/appearrance than with IPs (more, mind, not all).
I guess until there's some hard study done you'll just have to find out what works for you.

99 % оf internet user hаvе shared IP, that means уour IP іs uѕed by hundred more othеr users аt the samе time.
Quite оftеn еven whеn уou pay extra fоr dedicated IP уou share it wіth the others.
Thus whеn уou ban IP you usuallу ban а group оf people.
There arе оther ways to identify the PC.

i lost at least 20 twitter accounts. I'm pretty crappy at accounting for all of them.
I was using 10minutemail (disposable emails) once I verified i forgot about them.
Then I used twitterfeed dot com to blast.
I'm gonna try to use twitter accounts from fiverr and use desktop software to manage the accounts.

you are just kidding any social network accepts only one account per ip there aim is to provide real humans not spammers so ultimately u required per ip is only 1 acount

A library or a learning resource centre can have 100s of PCs running at any one time and they do share the exact same IP address.
Now if Twitter was to ban Twitter accounts due to the same accounts being ran on the same IP it would be a nightmare.
Common sense dictates that it's not about how many accounts RUN on the same IP but how many accounts are CREATED on the same day - even then I'm not convinced you run the risk of being banned.

Keep it to 3-4 to be safe 
If you really know what your doing on twitter you wont need more than that.
I have over 23k followers between 4 accounts right now, which actually do some converting on tweets
I prefer quality over quantity, but that is just me

With respect that doesn't make any sense.
If you know what you're doing you won't need any more than 3-4 accounts?
Get real. I have one account with over 45,000 followers, another with over 25,000, another with over 20,000, another with over 12,000... the number of accounts is directly related to how big you are marketing and into how many different markets.
I have close to 50... in 50 different subjects and I'm confident to say I know what I'm doing.
4-5 is small fish. It means you're only marketing in 4-5 markets.
With regards to IPs.. I've been running over 45 on 1 (ONE) IP for almost a year - not had any problems at all.
