I'm looking at setting up more twitter accounts, what is the maximum amount of accounts you can have before they start banning you and is it a good idea to go with a private proxy once you reach the limit?

i am using 6 account per ip, so far everything looks fine.

I use one account per proxy. Touch wood I've never had an account suspended. After all proxies are cheap so why risk a 1k+ account by being cheap :)

I have 7 accounts per ip and never had a problem.. But roberteb is right, i go with proxy in the future

The fastest way, by far, to grow your Twitter account is to automate it. I use Twitter quite a lot for prospecting. I currently have 9 Twitter accounts and, at the time of this writing, acquire about 300 new followers total per day. That's not so many but I keep it conservative to avoid attracting Twitter's attention.

Try to stay under Twitter's radar by not being too aggressive in acquiring new followers. Twitter will suspend accounts if any of its limits are breached. It is now becoming harder and harder to get a suspended account reinstated. The larger of a Twitter following you have, the more you have to lose if Twitter suspends one or more of your accounts.

Wish u good luck.

max per ip

twiiter accounts: 10
yahoo email maker: 10

A dynamic IP is ideal for everyone!

I never open more than 5 accounts on a single IP :)

I am using 6 and one were banned last month.

you can create 10 accounts per day per ip.
Nothing will happen to your accounts if your account seems to be real.
If you want to create mass accounts then its necessary to use proxies/ips for this purpose, but its not necessary to use ips/proxies to get login into these accounts.

Generally, after creation you should use same ip/proxy for one account. If you can't assign one specific ip/proxy to each account then its better to open them on same ip...
When you get login to one account using different ips/proxies, it makes you suspicious ...

Hence, either assign a specific ip/proxy to each account or login using same ip..
(I have twitter and other accounts, if anyone need then contact me)

You can create 10 account per proxy per day but personally I only create 1 per IP per day. But Im using 10 accounts per proxy when using the accounts.

1 ACC/IP = FB
5 ACC/IP = Twitter
1 ACC/IP = Youtube.

i usually signup for twitter 3 -5 per ip, if more 5 account, they will banned us:biggthump

50 accounts banned in the last 24 hours *cry*

thanks for the info. I am going to go conservative on this one and stick with ericsson's suggestions;

1 ACC/IP = FB
5 ACC/IP = Twitter
1 ACC/IP = Youtube.

I use 10 accounts per IP and never had a problem. Once though I did build 10 accounts all at once and they all got suspensed, probably because I built 10 in a row. Now I only create one or 2 per day.
