How many times to use a successful template?

Hey all,

I have a website that is doing what I would consider amazingly well, I've already got 50,000 UVs this month, and its making me a nice bit of cash .

So, my question is how many times would you feel comfortable using the same set up, ie plugins, template, seo, on other sites? Do you think Big G would have a problem with several dozen sites or more, all about different things having the same layout and footprint?

I'm planning on building several other sites in this niche (it is a very large niche, with several underserved areas in it), but I'm not sure if I should just do only some minimal things to change the looks, or if I should make more substantial changes so they don't have the same footprints.

Any thoughts?

I don't see that using the same setup numerous times is going to upset Big G. There must be plenty of sites running the themes and plugins. Every time someone creates a new course, such as sniper sites, extreme niches etc.. they recommend a set of plugins and themes to use.

The only difference that these sites have are their IP addresses. If you can use a few different IP ranges then this would help your footprint. You wouldn't even have to use different hosting companies if you didn't want to. Hostgator, for example, have VPS accounts where you can quickly scale up you processing power, bandwidth etc.. and use different IP addresses.

If you make good money then you could use one VPS for each niche.
